Modern Façade Solutions Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of flashings, trims and bespoke metal products for industrial and commercial buildings, including rainscreen and façade systems. Established in October 2024, the business was founded with the ambition of becoming a leading UK manufacturer.

The business is led by Managing Director Vincent Lee, who brings over 12 years’ experience in the roofing, cladding and façade sector, alongside strong experience managing engineering and construction projects in the UK and internationally. He is supported by an experienced team, including Tim Barry, Sales Manager, with over 35 years’ experience in manufacturing and sales.

Together, the team combines technical expertise, operational experience and commercial insight, providing a strong foundation for growth.

Supporting growth from the outset

Molly Hill, Senior Relationship Manager at Finance for Industry, and Chris Lillico, Managing Director have supported Modern Façade Solution since the early months of trading, working closely with the business to provide funding solutions aligned with its growth plans.

As a result, they have been able to secure funding for key equipment investments at critical stages in the business’s development.

An initial Hire Purchase agreement was put in place in November 2024 to fund a Bendmaster ECO hydraulic press, providing the foundation for the company’s production capabilities. This was followed in January 2025 by a further Hire Purchase agreement to acquire a GSCE 3015 6kW fibre CNC laser cutter, enabling the business to expand manufacturing capacity and improve production efficiency.

Most recently, support has been provided for the acquisition of an industrial‑grade hydraulic shear, allowing increased output to keep pace with growing customer demand.

By providing tailored funding solutions at each stage, Finance for Industry has enabled Modern Façade Solutions to invest in essential machinery without placing undue strain on cashflow, supporting steady and sustainable growth.

With continued investment in production capabilities, the business has strengthened its market position and accelerated its growth trajectory.

This progress has recently been recognised at the Make Your Mark Awards, where they were awarded Newcomer of the Year, as well as being named Runner‑Up in the Engineering & Manufacturing category.
